Lanning Gold brings humanity and spirits to manniquins by choosing a world of color to give them life. A fantasy world captured and transformed. A photographic artist who has put together a provacative body of work by photographing some of the more fasinating window displays in Los Angeles. Hand-tinting black and white photographs of these manniquins give an impression of "real life" models in a dream like, surrealistic state.  Most of these photographs were shot from the street, capturing the city's more interesting window displays. Some however are shot in the privacy of Lanning's studio with his own manniquins.
