John Evans is a self-taught artist who foun his calling in 1991. At one time unable to find live models, he began painting figures from other sources, mostly porn magazines.  As his career developed, he maintained his style of incorporating found images and began adding titles and conversations.  The result is some of the most thought-provoking, fasinating and original art we have seen here at the Speakeasy Gallery.  A must see!
